Persona 2 release date

   Atlus's Megami Tensei series has been a perennial best-seller in Japan for years, and it's about to sell still more The company's latest RPG creation, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, will appear on Japanese store shelves on June 24, the same day Game Arts's Grandia is due to ship.

   Atlus has remained silent about a North American release for Persona 2. The previous Megami Tensei title, Soul Hackers, was nixed by Sony for being 2D, and one might expect the subsequent game to meet a similar fate. Persona 2, however, features some 3D areas, and Atlus is already posting pictures of the game on its website, so the possibility of an English translation cannot be ruled out.
