GIA gets new URL

[03.28.99] » Geosynchronous satellite upgraded; www.thegia.com now available.

We at the GIA are always looking for ways to improve our service. Many of you have written in to complain that our current URL is too long and unwieldly. In response, the GIA is proud to unveil a new, shorter address for your browsing pleasure:

   http://www.thegia.com/

We encourage you to memorize, utilize, and evangelize this new address, and hope that it's more finger-friendly than our previous one. If there's one thing we don't want to bring to our readers, it's carpal tunnel syndrome. Our current address, http://www.gaming-intelligence.com/, will remain viable for the remainder of its registration period (about twenty more months). Nevertheless, we encourage you to switch over to the new one. It's so silky smooth.

Now, this is the part of the URL announcment where we make vague references to future excitement coming your way on the GIA: new staff announcements, expanded coverage of current titles, eventual expansion into coverage of "adventure game" titles (be patient, though, please), and a huge secret that we can't reveal at this time, except to tell you that it rhymes with "kessage koards." Keep an eye out!
