TGS: New VMS and PocketStation games

[03.20.99] » Several companies offer downloads to Tokyo Game Show visitors.

Shen Mue's recent move to two chapters hasn't affected the release of its accompanying VMS game. As promised, visitors to the Tokyo Game Show can download the game into their Dreamcast VMS unit. The game consumes at least 54 blocks on the unit -- 50 for the game itself, 2 for the VMS icon, and 2 for each character. A total of four different characters can be downloaded into the VMS game.

A Climax Landers VMS mini-RPG is also available on the show floor, in which you guide woodchuck-like character Jogurt (from Shining Force I) through a first-person dungeon. In addition, PlayStation gamers equipped with a PocketStation can obtain a special monster for use in Atlus' upcoming PSX port of Soul Hackers.
