Zelda 64 ocarinas available
[02.23.99] » Ever wanted to play an ocarina
just like Link's? Now's your chance.
After the proliferation of Final Fantasy VIII-related
products, it seemed like game merchandising couldn't get any wackier.
We'd seen everything from pendants to lighters to character uniforms,
but not a single musical instrument was among the bunch. Of course,
this gaping hole in the market was soon exploited, which brings us to...
Zelda ocarinas.
Songbird Ocarinas has begun producing a new
model of ocarina closely resembling the one Link uses in Zelda: The
Ocarina of Time, right down to the Triforce symbol on the
mouthpiece. The ocarinas retail for $32 US and can be purchased
through
Songbird Ocarinas' web site.
For those of you who desire the complete
Zelda experience, you can even play a few of the songs from the
game on the ocarina, as instructions on how to play the Song of Time,
Zelda's Lullaby, Minuet of Forest, and Serenade of Water have
been provided. Those desiring to hear the ocarina in action
before they purchase can also find
RealAudio versions of the Zelda tunes.
