Dragon Quest VII delayed until fall

[02.16.99] » Enix's highly-anticipated RPG receives yet another delay in Japan.

    The hype for Dragon Quest 7 is slowly building, but it will have to keep on building for a while longer. Originally scheduled for a spring '99 release in Japan, later delayed to summer, Dragon Quest 7 will now be shipping in the fall of this year. It seems unlikely North American gamers will see it until 2000, if at all.

    It's going to be a long wait, but the increased development time can only be a good thing in the end. In the mean time, there's always four new movies you can watch.
