Harvest Moon 2 release date
[02.01.99] » The farming sim arrives in Japan
in a few days, with a U.S. release later this year.
The original Harvest Moon acquired a cult
following with its unique gameplay -- it was a farming simulation,
in which you produced crops and sold them, as well as undertaking
other tasks such as building a house and getting married. Those
who missed the original game will soon be able to try their hand
at the sequel.
The game's publisher, Victor Interactive
Systems, has announced that Harvest Moon 2, aka Harvest Moon 64,
will be shipping to Japanese stores on February 5th, a mere
four days away. North American gamers will have to wait
a little longer, however, as Harvest Moon 2 will not reach the
other side of the Pacific until the third quarter of this year.
Look for full GIA coverage of the title soon.
