Grandia II goes two-player
[01.25.99] » Game Arts's upcoming sequel will make use of the Dreamcast modem.
One of the most heralded features of the Dreamcast is its built-in modem, which enables players to challenge others around the country in friendly games of Virtua Fighter, Sega Rally, and... Grandia II?
Game Arts has announced that the highly-anticipated successor to its Saturn RPG will not only include a two-player mode, but will support the Dreamcast's modem as well. Although it's not quite the first two-player mode in a console RPG, it's certainly the first one to use a modem. No details on how the two-player mode works have been revealed, but we'll keep you posted.
