Magic Knight Rayearth nears release

[12.04.98] » Could it be? Can we hope? Is it possibly true? Is Working Designs finally releasing Magic Knight Rayearth?

Probably the most delayed video game in existance, Magic Knight Rayearth has been taunting eager Saturn owners for years, as Working Designs toiled away on translating and localizing the unique action RPG. Now, Working Designs says that the game should reach retailers as soon as next week.

Working Designs has set an availability date of Wednesday, December 9th on their homepage for the game, and anticipates retailers getting the game in stock by the weekend. Those who have pre-ordered MKR may even have it by Thursday, December 10th. Magic Knight Rayearth seems almost certain to be the last Sega Saturn game ever released in North America, even though the system still thrives in Japan.

The GIA has its hands on a reviewable copy of the title, and we'll be bringing you our review shortly!
