Silent Hill to join Greatest Hits series
[12.27.99] » Now out-of-shape journalists can afford survival horror classic.
Konami's Silent Hill will be joining Sony's value-priced Greatest Hits series on February 17th, 2000. The Greatest Hits version of Silent Hill will retail for $19.99.
Silent Hill is renowned by gamers and critics alike for its subdued, under-the-surface creepiness, as opposed to Resident Evil's "in-your-face" jumps and thrills. Think H.P. Lovecraft or Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining." Silent Hill is also known for its unique protagonist: Harry Mason, an out-of-shape, out-of-work journalist who has trouble firing weapons or running for long distances. And with the Greatest Hits' new $19.99 price point, even a broke writer like Harry can enjoy his survival horror adventure!
