Third Pokémon movie announced

   Nintendo today announced a third Pokémon animated movie, due out in the summer of 2000 in Japan. Pokémon: Emperor in the Crystal Tower takes place in a distant resort known as Greenfield, where a young girl has created a crystal tower with her imagination. Greenfield is also home to a mysterious new Pokémon (named simply "Unknown") that was released from a Pokémon trading card.

   A second Pokémon movie was released this past summer in Japan and is already scheduled for a North American release in 2000. Look for coverage of it soon.
