Vagrant Story set for January

[11.16.99] » Square's gothic adventure RPG, previously delayed from Fall '99 to the winter, will hit Japanese stores shortly after the new year.

   Vagrant Story, Square's 5-6 hour long adventure RPG, has now been slated with a Japanese release date sometime in January. The game was originally demoed with Legend of Mana in July and promised for an Autumn 1999 release, but was delayed until the winter when the development schedule proved to be overly optimistic.

   Square EA still maintains an "Early 2000" release date for the English release of Vagrant Story.
