Vatical grabs Elemental Gimmick Gear
[11.16.99] » The Dreamcast's English RPG roster expands again.
Vatical Entertainment, publisher of Shadowgate 64 and Shadowgate Classic, recently announced that it has acquired the North American rights to Hudson Soft's Elemental Gimmick Gear and will being releasing the Dreamcast action RPG sometime in 2000.
Developed by Birthday, Elemental Gimmick Gear casts players in the role of "the Sleeping Man," who recently awoke after a hundred-year slumber and must now save the city of Fogna. Doing so entails piloting a variety of egg-shaped mechs against the enemy forces in action RPG battles reminiscent of Xenogears' Battling mode. The game features 2-D graphics in the field scenes and 3-D graphics in combat.
Look for full coverage of Elemental Gimmick Gear soon.
