Warp "retires" Laura

   Warp recently announced that adventure heroine Laura, star of the D series as well as Enemy Zero, is to "retire" after D2 and not appear in any future titles. The Kenji Eno-headed company is also planning a divergence from its previous games; its next game after D2 will likely be a comedy-themed "sound drama."

   D2 is due out December 23rd in Japan; a North American release will follow in the first quarter of 2000.
