Pokémon Silver + Gold to possibly arrive in limited quantities

   Reports from Japan say that Nintendo's Pokémon Silver + Gold may be arriving in far more limited quantities than previously expected. Nintendo previously anticipated initial shipments of 3,000,000 for the title. Unfortunately, only 50% of that number have been produced, and it appears unlikely that more can be produced before the game's scheduled November 21st release. The recent earthquake in Taiwan has disrupted chip production, spelling disaster for Pokefans the world over.

   Given the importance of this title to Nintendo's Japanese bottom line, it wouldn't be surprising if another delay were announced before its November 21st release.
