Square Millennium postponed

   Square of Japan today announced that it has postponed its Square Millennium press conference from November 23rd, 1999 to January 29th, 2000. The company explained that it needed the extra time to ensure that "the titles shown at the Millennium event are the utmost representation of Square's abilities to bring our fans the best gaming experience possible in the year 2000 and beyond".

   To be held in Yokohama, Japan, Square Millennium will unveil many of the numerous PlayStation and PlayStation 2 in development at Square. Square has none-too-subtly "suggested" that one of the titles being announced is Final Fantasy IX; expect the company's previously-announced rhythm action game to appear as well.
