Wild Arms on TV

[10.11.99] » RPG duology merits a spin-off anime series in Japan.

   With two games now available in Japan, Wild Arms is officially a series, and the merchandizing can begin -- beginning with a TV show. Titled Wild Arms TV: Twilight Venom, the anime series will begin October 18th in Japan; it airs every Monday at 7:00 PM. Wild Arms TV follows in the footsteps of fellow Sony RPG series Arc the Lad, which also proved popular enough for its own TV series.

   Wild Arms TV: Twilight Venom won't tie in directly with the stories of the games; instead, it forms a side-story in a similar world. The main character, Shane, loses a duel and is somehow transplated into the body of a child. He then teams up with a scientist named Keel and embarks on a journey to retrieve his real body.
