More on Onimusha
[09.29.99] » Capcom's latest adventure title promises a heftier dose of action.
The pioneer of the modern adventure genre are promising a new feel to its next "survival horror" project, as new details on Onimusha, Capcom's ninja-based PlayStation 2 adventure title, show that the title has a much heavier focus on fighting. Your hero comes armed with a number of different basic sword attacks: vertical and horizontal slashes, plus thrusts and aerial attacks. Various magic spells, such as fireballs, light beams, and electricity, are also strewn about the game; collecting them allows you to combine your sword attacks with a dose of magic to create various combo moves.
Full coverage of the new Onimusha will be added soon. In the mean time, older story and gameplay information is available in the GIA's preview of the now-defunct PlayStation version.
