Konami announces PSX2 RPG
[09.20.99] » And you will know it by the name of "Reiselied."
Konami has added one more title to their PS2 lineup, and this time it's an RPG. Not much was revealed about Reiselied (German for "Song of Travel"), which was only seen briefly in video form at the Tokyo Game Show, but among the few details that did surface were its anime stylings and turn-based combat. The title features a chipper young heroine accompanied by a few male allies, all in full 3D. Everything about the project is sketchy and vague for now, and Konami refused to comment on it, but if Reiselied follows in the epic tradition of Konami's Suikoden series, then it could be just what the PS2 needs to kick off a long string of top-notch RPGs.
