Pokémon finally reaches Europe

[09.11.99] » Pokémon Red and Blue will make their long-awaited European debut with a few new enhancements.

   While North American players will be enjoying Pokémon Yellow, and Japan celebrating the release of Gold and Silver, Europe will finally be getting the original Red and Blue editions of Pokémon -- the two versions are scheduled to arrive at last on October 1st.

   This belated European Pokérelease hardly the first time a game has either reached Europe tardy or never at all. To partially compensate for the delay, Nintendo has added full Color Game Boy the originally black-and-white Red and Blue editions.
