Pokémon Card U.S.-bound

[09.10.99] » One of the few remaining Japan-only Pokémon games is finally scheduled to be localized.

Pokémania shows no sign of ending, and as the fever continues, so do the flow of games. Nintendo of America today revealed that Pokémon Card, the Game Boy adaption of the Pokémon collectible card game, is in localization and should arrive as soon as February 2000 in North America. The game was released in Japan last year, but as a relatively minor Pokémon title, was not scheduled to be translated until recently -- now, Pikachu Genki de Chu is the only unique Pokémon title not scheduled for U.S. release.

Look for a full preview of Pokémon Card tomorrow.
