New Chrono Cross characters revealed

   It seems that heroes Serge and Kidd will be fighting more than just bipedal mountain cats -- a handful of new Chrono Cross characters have appeared in the pages of Famitsu, and from the looks of them, they're all probably villains.

   First up is Zoa, whose steel helmet and face guard give him the appearance of an executioner. Zoa is followed by Rideru, a sorceress clad in a green dress and a headband with a snake protruding from it; and Kaashu, a monk-like character. Next up is Maruchera, a evil-looking little girl in a pink dress and with blonde hair. She has no weapon, but she is equipped with a metal shield and breastplate.

   Rounding out the new characters is the quintet's apparent leader: a character with a high-collared coat that gives him the appearance of a captain. His villain status is enhanced by his pointed eyebrows and ominous black coat, which has red and white eyes adorning its shoulders.
