Europe gets PS2/Metal Gear Solid 2 bundle

   Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced today that a special bundle containing the PlayStation 2 hardware and a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2 will be released on March 22, two weeks after the game's seperate retail release on March 8. 350,000 bundles will be made available and will be sold for £229. According to CV&G, the bundle will also make its way to America around the same time, but no details were mentioned beyond that.

   Metal Gear Solid 2 has currently reached 1 million preorders in Europe, and the game itself will feature some new game modes and an extra behind-the-scenes DVD.
