First Project Venus screens

   Though Namco's first foray into the realm of online RPGs may be going under the codename Project Venus, the game seems to be a direct sequel or multiplayer reworking of the company's first PlayStation 2 RPG, Seven: Morumosu's Cavalry Corps, published in 2000.

   The early media, shown at Sony's recent press conference, reveals that Project Venus' art style, presentation, and battle screen is almost a dead ringer for Seven. (A screenshot of Seven is provided below on the right.) While Namco has yet to confirm the game as an actual sequel, there seems to be little doubt that the game is at least being made by members of the Seven team. Look for more details to surface soon.
