Biohazard GameCube bundle in the works?
[02.08.02] » Yamauchi may not be the only part of Nintendo
to be zombified.
With the impending arrival of Capcom's remake of
the first Biohazard game (Resident Evil in the U.S.), the company
has begin sending out promotional materials to retailers. Along with
the recently announced Memory Card
bundle, it seems Capcom and Nintendo may be planning to include the
game in a full-fledged pack-in version of the GameCube to help boost
the somewhat lackluster sales of the system in Japan.
From the looks of the supplied materials, however,
it does not appear that the companies are planning a Biohazard-branded
version of the console, such as the one produced for the Dreamcast
release of Biohazard Code: Veronica. Regardless, a special version
of the system may still be in the works; Capcom has certainly gone
to further extremes
to promote the series.
