Onimusha sells 2 million copies worldwide

   With the recent release of the upgraded Xbox version and the oncoming PS2 sequel, the original version of Onimusha has continued to sell remarkably well, reaching over 2 million units sold to date. Specifically, 1.1 million copies have sold in Japan, with 620,000 in North America and 290,000 in Europe. With these numbers, Onimusha currently remains one of the best-selling PlayStation 2 games of all time, and was recently rereleased in Japan as part of the new Mega Hits line.
