Squaresoft to release new SaGa game?

    GameFront reported today that Squaresoft is working on a new SaGa title for the PlayStation 2. While the article was sparse on details, it was reported that the title will actually be a Romancing SaGa game. Should this fact prove to be correct, it will mark the first time that Square has carried the SaGa naming tradition from one system to another. It was also added that the game may be compatible with the upcoming PlayOnline network, though this was just a rumor at the present time. Square has yet to officially announce any new titles, but given the success of the SaGa series in Japan, a ninth game in the series would not be out of the question.

    According to GameFront, the yet untitled SaGa game is tentatively due out this summer in Japan.
