Metal Gear Solid 2 sales near 4 million

   Konami's Metal Gear Solid 2 is inching ever-so-stealthily to the 4 million mark in worldwide sales. The game has sold over 1.5 million copies in North America and as many are projected for the March 8th European launch, plus the 800,000 to date in Japan. As the PS2 gains momentum internationally, it is expected that the game will eventually surpass the 5 million sales mark of the original Metal Gear Solid.
