Irem announces Zettai Zetsumei for PlayStation 2
[12.05.01] » An overpopulated, ocean-floating metropolis in the middle of an earthquake-prone area? What could possibly go wrong!
Japanese developer Irem recently announced a new adventure game for the PlayStation 2: Zettai Zetsumei. (Rough English translation: "Absolute Death.") In the near future, overpopulation has forced folks to construct floating cities in the middle of the ocean. But when a major earthquake hits, the city is instantly transformed into a total disaster area. Zettai Zetsumei puts the player in the shoes of a newspaper reporter who is searching the city for survivors. Announced gameplay features include the ability to use various types of rescue gear, as well as the need to eat food to survive. Currently, little else is known about the game. Zettai Zetsumei is due for release in Japan sometime during 2002.
