Square announces Final Fantasy X release date, Consumer Demo Day

by the GIA, Final Fantasy X will be released to U.S. stores on December 26, 2001. Though Square will miss Christmas by one day, they'll still launch in the middle of the winter holiday, giving gamers plenty of time to experience their latest title.
Gamers who can't wait until Christmas should check out Square's forthcoming Consumer Demo Day. December 15, 2001, Square will give U.S. fans a chance to play the English-language version at the San Francisco Metreon's PlayStation store. In addition to playing the game, fans will have a chance to win prize packages and receive a free Final Fantasy promotional item, while supplies last.
