Final Fantasy X International due in Japan [11.07.01] » Square tries to get Japanese gamers to buy the game again. Square recently announced that another version of Final Fantasy X was in the works for Japan. Titled Final Fantasy X International, this PlayStation 2 re-release follows on the heels of Final Fantasy VII International, which hit Japanese stores following the release of the regular version in North America. While no details have been released regarding the specifics of FFX International, one possibility is that it will be given similar treatment to what FFVII received, which included a fourth Perfect Guide disc that featured maps, vehicle models, and FMV clips. It is also possible that the game will simply be released with the English voiceovers, without any bonuses, as was done with the Japanese-only Shenmue USA. Final Fantasy X International is due Japan on January 31, 2002. | | | |
