Rez announced for American release

   Sega today announced an American release for the PlayStation 2 version of United Game Artists' musical shooter Rez. Players control a hacker trying to awaken the sentient global data network named Eden, which has lapsed into a coma following its newfound awareness of its existence. The current release date is in January 2002, with a suggested retail price yet to be announced. Neither the Dreamcast version of the game nor the Trance Vibrator peripheral was mentioned.
