Dragon Warrior VII update
[10.05.01] » Enix releases further details and a few small screens of Dragon Warrior VII's job system.
In anticipation of Dragon Warrior VII's North American release on November 1, Enix will be releasing weekly updates highlighting some of the features of the game. This week's information concerns the plethora of classes found in the game. Players will have 20 job classes available to them throughout the game, each of which offers plenty of unique spells and skills. Once a class is mastered, players can switch to the next class of their choosing. The game automatically tracks character's progress in each class, so that players wanting to try a new class don't have to worry about losing the experience they had gained in the class they were in if they hadn't mastered it yet.
For those who will breeze through the job classes, there's an additional monster class system. By collecting "Monster Hearts" throughout the journey, players will gain the ability to transform into 34 various monsters and learn their skills and spells. Like the job classes, each monster class will feature eight levels. For example, the Slime category starts players off as a Globule and ends at KingSlime.
