More Grandia Xtreme shots, details

[10.04.01] » No sign yet of body piercing, aggressive bush jumping minigames.

Famitsu.com has more details of the Game Arts' unfortunately-titled Grandia Xtreme. The main character, named Evan, is a conceited youth apparently working as a bounty hunter or mercenary. He dislikes working, considering it beneath him, and only does so out of respect for his father.

The battle system is similar to Grandia II's, featuring the same quasi-realtime system and the ability to cancel attacks at any time. New to Grandia Xtreme is the Synchroflash system. When certain conditions are met during battle, party members may unite to attack the enemy together.

Grandia Xtreme is currently set for a spring 2002 release in Japan.
