Correction: Sequel to Saiyuki not in the works

   Earlier today, we reported that a sequel to Saiyuki was in the works. Koei has in fact announced a PlayStation 2 sequel to Houshin Engi, which we erroneously reported was the Japanese version of Saiyuki: Journey West. Character designs are by Okazaki Takeshi, and the game will feature fully polygonal graphics. Houshin Engi 2 is set for a winter release.
