GameCube versions of Resident Evil 2, 3, and CODE: Veronica to be ports

   In a recent interview with Weekly Famitsu, Capcom's Shinji Mikami has clarified his plans for the Resident Evil series on GameCube. While the first Resident Evil game is receiving a full remake, the later titles will be ported to the GameCube without a full graphics overhaul.

   Mikami explained that remaking the entire series would take too much time away from the development of Resident Evil 4, currently slated for release in 2003.
