Shenmue II US release information

   Sega of America has confirmed that Shenmue II will be arriving in America with its Japanese voice acting intact. Unlike the first game, which was redubbed in English, the sequel's localization will only include subtitles. Sega stated the choice was made to "to maintain the overall theme and authenticity of the title," but with Shenmue II currently bringing up the rear of the Dreamcast release list, getting the game out before Christmas was also a likely factor.

    Meanwhile, Sega has also confirmed a new American release date for the game. Shenmue II will be arriving in the US on December 4, which will likely make it the last major release on the Dreamcast.
