Amano artwork extravaganza

    Yoshitaka Amano is no stranger to American comics - he illustrated last year's 10th Anniversary edition of Sandman. His most recent project is a graphic novel of sorts being published by Marvel Comics. The trilogy of books will star Wolverine and Elektra, and will feature full pages of text by novelist Greg Rucka broken up by full-page illustrations by Amano. The first issue is set for release this November and will retail for roughly $5.

    Those who can't wait until November for their next fix of Amano's art style will be glad to know that the cover of the August edition of Electronic Gaming Monthly will feature an original Amano illustration of several Final Fantasy X characters.
