Silent Hill 2 Japanese release date

   Konami has revealed the Japanese release date for the highly-anticipated sequel to one of the most frightening games of all time. Silent Hill 2 will ship to Japanese retailers on September 27.

   US online retailer EBGames has also updated its release date for the game to the same day. Konami has yet to confirm a sold stateside date, but the full English voice acting in Silent Hill 2 should make for an easy simultaneous, or near-simultaneous release.
