More on PaRappa the Rapper 2

   While the official unveiling of PaRappa the Rapper 2 isn't scheduled until June 29th, Core Magazine has reported on some new details. The game's story will reportedly deal with an alien invasion; presumably, it's up to PaRappa to save the day.

   The two-player mode first seen in Um Jammer Lammy will make a return in PaRappa 2. Core reports that the game will feature a "new friend named 'P.J.'" While PaRappa's sidekick P.J. Berri is not actually a new character, this could be a sign that he will P.J. given a greater role in PaRappa 2, perhaps as the second-player avatar.

   PaRappa the Rapper 2 is due out August 30th in Japan.
