Phantasy Star Online ver. 2 American release date update

    In a recent story, we reported Sega of America officially set July 10 as the ship date for PSO ver. 2. However, Sega has recently updated the PSO ver. 2 webpage by changing the release date status from July 10 to TBD (To Be Determined).

    According to Gamespot VG a Sega spokesperson said, "Sega of America is committed to the Phantasy Star Online series and making its games accessible and affordable for US gamers... Further details on Phantasy Star Online Version 2 have not yet been announced."

    Just how delayed the game will be remains to be seen, but Gamestop.com has now set August 15 as the new release date.
