Parasite Eve movie set for release on DVD, VHS

   ADV Films has announced that they will be shipping the Parasite Eve movie on both DVD and VHS on August 14. The film, which is an adaptation of the book that the Squaresoft game was based on, will be in Japanese with English subtitles. Though a theatrical run was talked about, the movie failed to see any sort of North American release outside of L.A. and New York. No extras were announced in ADV's press release, and given the $19.98 DVD and $14.98 VHS prices, it is unlikely that any will appear before the movie is released.
