Deus Ex makes the jump to PS2

   Previously announced and then cancelled for the Dreamcast, Eidos Interactive has revealed its plans to bring the highly-regarded Deus Ex to the Playstation 2. Currently set for a Winter 2001 release date, the PS2 version of the first person shooter/RPG should boast a streamlined, menu-driven interface, as well as improved character graphics and polygon counts.

   The GIA will have more on the Playstation 2 version of Deus Ex from the E3 show floor when the convention opens on Thursday.
