More on Naughty Dog's "Project Y"

   IGNPS2 has confirmed that Naughty Dog's PlayStation 2 adventure title will be named "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy." The game was previously known as just "Project Y."

   Meanwhile, Computer and Video Games has reported that the title involves a human character, Jak, with a meerkat-like sidekick, Daxter. The site's source describes the gameplay as somewhat of a mix between Nintendo's Zelda and Banjo-Kazooie series.

   Jak and Daxter will likely be officially unveiled during Sony's pre-E3 conference on Wednesday.
