Konami announces E3 roster

[05.12.01] » Ephemeral Fantasia gets a new release date.

   Konami today announced its slate of titles to be exhibited at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Among the games are Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, due out alongside the Game Boy Advance on June 11th, as well as the already-available Dance Dance Revolution for PlayStation.

   On the PlayStation 2 side, Konami will be showing Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Silent Hill 2, and the music-themed RPG Ephermeral Fantasia. Ephemeral Fantasia has moved up from a November ship date to one in July, while Metal Gear Solid 2 and Silent Hill 2 remain on track as fall 2001 releases in North America.

   ``I think it's safe to say that this year sees our strongest software lineup in the past three decades," said Chris Garske, Vice President of Marketing for Konami of America, Inc. "Metal Gear Solid 2, Frogger and Silent Hill 2 are going to establish Konami as one of the top software publishers in the United States.''
