Dance Dance Revolution Disney's Rave U.S.-bound?

[04.15.01] » The Disney-based rhythm title may see a North American release.

According to online retailer EBGames, Konami is set to release a second Dance Dance Revolution title in America later this year. Entitled Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix, the new series installment is tentatively listed to ship in October for $39.99.

Released last November in Japan as Dance Dance Revolution Disney's Rave, the game features the same style of gameplay as the main DDR series but with Disney songs replacing the traditional J-Pop dance tracks. Unlike the Nintendo 64 title Disney's Dance Dance Revolution Museum, which includes only untouched Disney classics, Disney's Rave features full electronica remixes of such famous songs as "It's a Small World" and "Zippedy-Doo-Dah".

An official announcement on the status of Disney's Rave is likely at the Electronics Entertainment Expo next month.
