Black & White console-bound

[04.04.01] » Lionhead Studios' virtual pet title to appear on PlayStation and Dreamcast.

   GameSpot VG reports that Lionhead Studios' acclaimed PC virtual pet and "god sim" Black & White is on its way to two console systems. Midas Interactive will publish a PlayStation 1 version this June, while Sega will publish a Dreamcast edition in the fourth quarter of this year. Both ports will be developed by Lionhead Studios themselves.

   Released last week for Windows, Black & White casts players in the role of deity who must raise both a civilization and a giant "titan" creature. The open-ended title allows players to rule with fear or with kindness; the titan and landscape will change to reflect the player's actions.
