TGS: Harvest Moon heads to PS2
[04.01.01] » Victor Interactive shows of the next generation
of armchair farming.
While the bulk of the attention at the Tokyo Game
Show may be going to Final Fantasy X and Xbox, Victor Interactive
has quietly unveiled the latest installment of their farming sim series,
Harvest Moon for PlayStation 2.
While the game is at an early stage, it was playable
at Sony's booth and the graphics displayed the same cartoonish charm
for which the series is known. Beyond the standard graphical upgrade
on the PS2, the new Harvest Moon will also be employing a subtle use
of cell shading for characters.
No information was available on possible gameplay
improvements for this latest version, but expect to hear more on Harvest
Moon PS2 soon.
