TGS: MonolithSoft's Project X named

   Namco today released the official name of MonolithSoft's PlayStation 2 RPG. GameSpot VG reports the hotly-anticipated title will be titled "Xenosaga," an obvious nod to director Tetsuya Takahashi's previous project, Square's Xenogears. It seems quite possible that Xenosaga will attempt to carry on the multi-part Xenogears story in some form.

   The title also now has an official winter 2001 release date in Japan.
