First Growlanser II screenshot

[03.27.01] » One tiny picture gives a glimpse at Altus' first PS2 RPG.

   While Atlus is keeping a tight lid on any information on Growlanser II before its TGS unveiling, the company has released one small screenshot of the recently announced PlayStation 2 RPG. The game will again feature character designs by Satoshi Urushihara and looks to employ the same screen-filling character portraits used during conversations in the previous game.

   While it's difficult to judge the direction the ex-Langrisser team will be taking the game on the PS2, it does seem they'll be sticking closely to the previous game's more traditional style and sprite-based characters. Look for more information on Growlanser II to emerge later this week at the Spring Tokyo Game Show.
