Project X to debut at Tokyo Game Show

   Namco recently confirmed on its web site that MonolithSoft's PlayStation 2 -- still under the working title "Project X" -- will debut at the Tokyo Game Show. The company had previously announced that it would unveil several new games at the Tokyo Game Show, but had not specifically mentioned "Project X" as one of them.

   The first title by Namco's new RPG-centric MonolithSoft division, Project X is helmed by Tetsuya Takahashi, the director of Square's Xenogears.
